The name Erembe<\/strong> was inspired by the traditional headdress of the Ovahimba indigenous people of Namibia. For these pastoral and nomadic Namibians, the erembe symbolises femininity, beauty and culture.<\/p>\n

Himba women who have reached the age of matrimonial readiness are crowned with this headdress, signifying their growth, fertility and incubation.<\/p>\n
